The new champion in the aero segment
The natural evolution of the premium aerodynamic product - made by professionals for professionals. Filante SLR is an extremely lightweight aerodynamic road bike that significantly improves the ratio of torsional stiffness to weight, the stiffness to weight. Wilier has used the same materials and technologies as in the production of the Wilier 0 SLR. The result is an aerodynamic frame for the highest demands, complementing a pure uphill bike currently used by Astana Premier Tech and Total Direct Energie.

Aerodynamics
The Filante SLR has been developed to achieve maximum aerodynamics in real environmental conditions. The analysis is based on data measured in the wind tunnel (where the wind is very clean for homogeneous empirical results), while also taking into account the real world. In this way, they not only evaluate the data typical of the wind tunnel (yaw angles from -20 ° to +20 °), but also take into account the turbulence in the real world that affects the bike for various reasons.
For this reason, they have redesigned the profiles. In doing so, they have taken the NACA/KAMM standard as a starting point, but have dispensed with blunt cuts on the rear triangle. Rounded edges offer better performance even if the airflow is disturbed. The inside of the fork has been increased by 7 mm, making it 13.6% wider than the fork of the Cento10PRO. In doing so, Wilier has removed the fork rails from the wheel to reduce turbulence and improve aerodynamics.

Ultra-light and responsive
The new aerodynamically optimised profiles allowed them to save additional weight in the frame construction. The shape without blunt cuts needs less material and less resin in the corners. As a result, the interior is more homogeneous and the frame has a weight of 870 grams. With the specifications of the top model, the bike weighs 6.8 kg.
Carbon used for the construction of Filante's monocoque is the same as that of the Wilier 0 SLR. Thanks to the different types of carbon used together with liquid crystal polymer, the special positioning of the fibres and the construction technology, we have managed to achieve top results in terms of lightness and stiffness.
The lower overall weight has increased the STW factor by 12.5% compared to the highest level of torsional stiffness. This improvement can be clearly felt in the steering precision and the feeling of safety at high speeds.

Handlebars and integrated cables
Apart from its very low weight (350 grams for the 101x42 size), the new Filante Bar integrative carbon monocoque handlebar continues the brake and gear cables inside it directly into the frame. Its essential design with curvy and rounded lines guarantees maximum ergonomics of the grip.

Easy-Fit spacers
The spacers between the head tube of the frame and the handlebar are made of composite material with high rigidity and feature a special cavity for cable routing. The two-piece composition allows easy assembly and disassembly without additional work on the cables that run between the handlebars and the frame.

Balance design
Six sizes - unique riding experience. The tube sections in the different sizes are designed so that stiffness, ride and comfort are the same for each frame size.
