The perfect saddle for an active riding style on all mountain and enduro bikes. The 611 Active CrMo has been equipped with stable yet lightweight CrMo struts and reinforced with a durable B78 cover at the saddle's most stressed areas. The proven SQlab step saddle shape offers more space and freedom for the sensitive areas of men and women alike. Thanks to its design, the Active saddle allows the pelvis to move horizontally in the same way as when walking naturally. Comfort is increased and the pressure on the seat bones is relieved. The saddle nose of the 611 Active has always been 2.5 cm longer than conventional models. The long nose provides Moto Cross Style and offers more lateral guidance and freedom of movement for the active riding styles of fast and experienced riders. The saddle also offers more space to the rear and to the side for better contact with the rider. Another common feature of Moto Cross Sport is a step in the seat, which is not intended to relieve the strain, but rather to provide more support in the front seat position.
The 611 Active therefore offers the perfect platform for an active riding style: At the very back: ideal for covering longer distances, with high relief in the dam area
Sliding forward into the step: With the centre of gravity slightly lower, great support to the rear, the rear seat bones still rest on the top of the seat. In combination with the SQlab Maxcontact nose shape the relief in the middle is excellent.
Shifted to the front of the saddle nose: for steep ramps, here the second advantage of the long nose besides the lateral guidance comes into its own.
SQlab step saddle concept
The lower saddle nose relieves the dam area and distributes the pressure on the seat bones
SQlab Active saddle technology comfort
The Active saddle allows a physiologically correct pelvis movement in horizontal plane, which relieves the intervertebral discs and minimises the pressure on the seat bones. The sporty active saddles are equipped with three different elastomer dampers, which are individually adjusted to the body weight and can be replaced as required. SQlab MaxContact
The flattened, narrow saddle nose offers a much larger contact surface and thus a greater pressure distribution than conventional saddles
SQlab Marathon Foam
Due to its large volume grid structure, the Marathon Foam has a high proportion of closed air chambers. This results in a spring characteristic curve that provides comfort values for thin upholstery layers that are otherwise only achieved with large-volume, thickly padded saddles. Due to the high air content, the specific weight is extremely low. The padding always remains firm even under high, long-lasting loads. The closed structure prevents water from penetrating into the upholstery
