The unique tread pattern of MICHELIN's Wild ROCK'R² Advanced Reinforced offers the best possible compromise between excellent low friction and excellent braking ability:a tyre that meets all expectations, even in the most difficult conditions:
- Excellent performance at lean angles: the solid tread blocks on the tyre shoulder allow safe riding, even at remarkable lean angles.
- Excellent grip: a variety of integrated sipes in the tread blocks not only improve mobility but also dampen excess energy and optimise grip.
- On the rolling surface, alternately arranged transverse and longitudinal tread blocks in the form of "teeth" offer very good smooth running and excellent braking capability.
- Thanks to the so-called "Reinforced Technology", the tyre offers safe riding even under the most difficult conditions. Furthermore, this technology achieves a compromise between mass and resistance. This is particularly important in Enduro use.
Advanced technology: The ‘Advanced Technology’ series tyres offer even better performance thanks to their characteristics: a special tread, a new rubber compound (GUM-X) and a new carcass structure (Reinforced Technology).
Reinforced Technology MICHELIN’s Reinforced Technology makes the carcass even more resistant to damage at the sides and protects against punctures caused by shocks thanks to the additional protective layer from wire to wire.
TS MICHELIN uses two types of folding cores for its bicycle tyres: flexible and hard folding cores. The flexible folding cores were invented and developed by MICHELIN and consist exclusively of aramid fibres, which are also used, for example, in bulletproof vests. This textile fibre is very resistant and lightweight, saving between 40 and 70 grams per tyre. MICHELIN's high performance road and mountain bike tyres all have flexible folding cores.
MagiX Developed and already used in the Enduro World series competition, this performance-optimised rubber compound offers excellent grip at lean angles as well as excellent braking in extremely difficult conditions. The MICHELIN MAGI-X series is designed for use as front tyres. For a safe and controlled ride on challenging and unforgiving Enduro tracks, it is recommended to use the MICHELIN GUM-X series rubber compound as rear tyre and the Magi-X series rubber compound as front tyre.
